Time flies, especially when you’re busy. The main purpose of this trip, real estate search, isn’t as successful as hoped, mainly due to the inflexibility of Japanese banks and the too strong exchange rate of the Japanese Yen at the moment. Nevertheless my wife an I learned a lot and are now fully prepared to find next year the perfect place to live near Osaka!

During the last few months, I surely neglected Fukuchan. Mea Culpa! Otherwise, I’ll fly as usual to Osaka at the end of the month and stay there for 5 weeks. No big journey is planned yet, but between day trips to deepen my knowledge of the Kansai region (and its cuisine!) and working on new content for Fukuchan Ryoko, I’ll devote with my wife much time to an important task: find a house!
