The FAM trip sponsored by the Setouchi Tourism Authority is starting in exactly one week.
Here some highlights (all new for me!) of the upcoming agenda:
Arima Onsen: Situated just a stone’s throw away from Kobe, in beautiful natural surroundings, this hot spring village is very popular since several centuries!
Naoshima: Tiny island of the Seto Inland Sea, Naoshima is known for its many contemporary art museums and is part of the Setouchi Triennale, a contemporary art festival held every three years.
Most of the museums on Naoshima were designed by the famous Japanese architect Tadao Ando and the buildings seem as interessant as the paintings and sculptures displayed!
Naruto: If you’re fan of manga, this name should be more than familiar. But did you know that the name of the hero of this ninja story originates from the Naruto whirpools between Awaji Island and the northeastern tip of Shikoku Island?
These huge whirlpools seem very impressive, I’m really looking forward to see them!
